Justin Voight
Justin Voight is an American artist, educator, and portrait painter working in the classical tradition. His work centers on portraiture and the human figure, drawing on the disciplined methods of the European ateliers while seeking a contemporary sense of character, presence, and craftsmanship.
Trained in traditional drawing and painting, Justin works primarily in charcoal and oil. He believes that careful observation, strong draughtsmanship, and thoughtful design form the foundation of enduring work.
In addition to his studio practice, Justin teaches high school art and college-level figure drawing in Oklahoma, where he shares the principles of classical draughtsmanship with the next generation of artists. Earlier in his career, he worked professionally in graphic design, photography, and the decorative arts—experiences that continue to inform his sense of composition and craftsmanship.
His work has been exhibited in group shows and is held in private collections in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Justin is currently developing a new body of portrait work and accepting a limited number of inquiries.
