Make no mistake about it, I love shooting on location! However, I have always strived to push myself creatively and expand my style. I have always been interested in photographers who can put themselves in any situation and using the tools at hand create stunning images. Reseth and I recently had the opportunity to test a direct flash lighting technique that I have become interested in. I feel like it's another step in exploring light and I loved it! Shooting in studio gives me the chance to think about my photographs in a totally different way. It also gives me the opportunity to add something more to my fashion portfolio. Over the next few weeks I am going to be solidifying my fashion portfolio and putting it out to the world to see what happens. The great thing is a lot of the techniques and style that I use for my fashion work can carry over to my brides and portrait clients. We can create something hip, cool, fashionable and stylish!
