Sometimes clients have to cancel shoots. It's not fun but it is understandable. What's a photographer to do? Well, if you have a really great business partner assisting you on the shoot then you make the best of the day. That is exactly what Reseth and I did.

We decided it would be best to try to hone our skills by focusing on using back light in portraits. You can get some really beautiful effects with this technique. We had a great time taking pics of each other and working on our photo skills.

Fall is here and it could not be more perfect for location portraits. I find that this time of year offers a quality of light that stands apart from all other seasons. There is something about the mood that early Autumn light creates. It's can be very nostalgic and so so beautiful. The sad part is, it won't last long. I was so happy that Reseth convinced me to take a break from editing to test some bridal portrait ideas. Not only is she a great photographer but she is also an outstanding model! Here are just a few from today that I had to post. I'll post more later.

I photographed a beautiful classic wedding for Cheryl and Brian this past weekend in Ft. Worth TX. It was such a great day and their families were so super. My business partner Reseth helped me with the photography and we were able to capture some gorgeous images of Cheryl and Brian's special day. Brian and I have been friends since high school and I was so excited to be a part of he and his beautiful brides wedding. I wish them all the love and happiness life has to offer.
