Mattie is a really cool young lady. Besides being smart and beautiful she also an amazing athlete. She plays volleyball and when she graduates high school in Edmond she is planning on attending and playing volleyball at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth. The next year is going to be super exciting and I expect great things for Mattie!

When I hold my new (old) camera in my hands I can't help but think of the tradition of the great portrait artists of the past who labored away creating some of the greatest masterpieces of the 20th century with nothing more than wit, smarts and a simple machine in their hands. I aspire to the same thing. I aspire to be more creative and find inspiration in the past, present and the future. I aspire to give my clients something outside of the box. Sure it may not be for everyone and while digital photography will encompass the majority of my photographic workflow, I am going to reserve exclusive "retro" sessions shooting with film only! I had a really fun shoot with Rachel to update my stock portfolio. We had a lot of fun spending the morning on the beautiful campus of the University of Oklahoma. Here are just a few from the set. Enjoy!Whats that funny © thing? Well... because these shots are used in my commercial stock portfolio I am trying to protect them from dishonest people who would take them without asking. What beautiful light! One of the best things about this time of year is the quality of light in the evening. It is warm and glowing and you just can't beat it. I had such a great time taking some fun lifestyle portraits of Lauren.
